The Child Garden offers quality childcare and educational programs for infants through age 12. Originally founded in 1997, The Child Garden operates four locations in northern Ohio in LaGrange, Grafton, Oberlin, and Wellington. They offer daycare, preschool, before and after school care, and summer camp, and have received numerous awards for their high-quality educational programs.  

OSDC worked with First Knox National Bank, a division of Park National Bank, to secure an SBA 504 loan to help The Child Garden purchase their fourth location and expand operations in the adjacent property. The loan helped them purchase a building they were previously leasing and borrower enough money to pay for construction and expansion
