The Book Loft is a well-known independent bookstore and destination in the German Village neighborhood of Columbus. One of the nation’s largest independent bookstores, The Book Loft stocks over 100,000 titles throughout the year and delights its customers with a layout comprised of 32 rooms full of books. For nearly five decades, the business leased its signature store, an 8,400 square foot building in the heart of the neighborhood.

OSDC worked with Huntington National Bank to secure an SBA 504 loan to assist the owners in purchasing the historic building in German Village. The loan helped the owners secure the building as a business asset and preserve this favorite community establishment for generations to come.
