A Business Built on Experience and Community Service
For decades, Lewellen’s Services has been a trusted provider of water treatment and pest control services for homes and businesses throughout the Logan and Hocking Hills region. Known for dependable service and strong community roots, the company has helped local residents protect their homes and maintain healthy living environments.
The business operates two primary service divisions that support customers across the region. Through its water division, Lewellen’s Services provides water filtration and conditioning systems designed to address common issues such as hard water, odors, and impurities. The company is also an authorized dealer and installer of water treatment systems and related products.
Complementing these services is Arab Termite & Pest Control, Lewellen’s pest management division, which provides professional pest control services across central and southeastern Ohio. Licensed technicians deliver solutions for termite protection, rodent control, and other common household pests using modern treatment methods designed to protect homes and businesses.
From Employee to Owner
Current owner Andrew Vita brings deep experience and dedication to the company. Andrew spent nearly 20 years working in the pest control division before purchasing Lewellen’s Services in 2014.
Since taking ownership, he has steadily grown the business year after year, expanding services throughout southeast Ohio and into central Ohio while building a team of 12 full-time employees.
As the company continued to grow, Lewellen’s Services eventually outgrew its existing facility, creating the need for a larger space to support operations, training, and storage.
Building a New Home for the Business
OSDC partnered with Vinton County National Bank to secure an SBA 504 loan that enabled Lewellen’s Services to purchase land and construct a brand-new facility in Logan.
The new building includes office space, a training area, and warehouse capacity designed to support the company’s growing operations. The investment gives Lewellen’s Services the space and infrastructure needed to continue expanding while maintaining the high level of service customers expect.
Investing in the Future of the Community
The new facility represents more than just a building. It reflects Lewellen’s Services’ long-term commitment to the Logan and Hocking Hills community and its continued investment in local jobs and services.
By partnering with Vinton County National Bank and OSDC, the company was able to structure financing that supports long-term stability while positioning the business for continued growth.
Projects like this demonstrate how strategic financing can help established businesses invest in their future while strengthening the communities they serve.
