It was established in 1990 through the purchase of Ohio Plate Glass Company by Glenn Zook and John Zook and has remained a family-owned business through its current owner and president, Michael Zook.

They specialize in projects for retail installations, new office buildings, custom replacement windows, churches, educational buildings, and hotels.
OSDC worked with Heartland Bank, a division of German American Bank, to secure an SBA 504 loan to assist Ohio Glass and Aluminum Company purchase their new headquarters. The loan provided a low down payment and fixed rate terms to help the business consolidate operations into one 56,000 square foot facility and increase capacity for greater production and future growth. The project helped support 44 local jobs in manufacturing.
