Vet Loan Advantage Program

If you served in the military and you own a business in Ohio, this one is for you.

The VetLoan Advantage Program is OSDC's way of saying thank you. It takes the already-strong benefits of the SBA 504 loan and adds exclusive savings for veteran-owned businesses. Less out-of-pocket cost upfront. Same great fixed rate and terms.

What Is the VetLoan Advantage Program?

The VetLoan Advantage is not a separate loan. It is a set of additional benefits layered on top of OSDC's SBA 504 loan program, available exclusively to businesses where veterans own 50% or more.

Here is what veteran-owned businesses get:

  • Application fee waived completely.
  • A rebate of up to $3,000 on the cost of your appraisal.

Those two items can add up to real money saved at closing. And they come on top of all the standard SBA 504 benefits: low fixed interest rate, small down payment, and loan amounts up to $5 million.

Who Qualifies for the VetLoan Advantage?

To be eligible, your business must:

Be at least 50% owned by a veteran who served in the U.S. military.
Meet standard SBA 504 eligibility requirements (for-profit business, net income under $5 million, net worth under $15 million).
Be purchasing commercial real estate (the building your business operates from) or major equipment.

When you apply, OSDC will need a copy of your DD214, which is the official Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty issued when you left the military. This is what confirms your eligibility for the program.

Why Does This Program Exist?

Veteran business owners represent some of the most driven entrepreneurs in the country. They bring discipline, leadership, and a mission-focused mindset to everything they do. The VetLoan Advantage exists because we believe those business owners deserve a financing partner who recognizes that.

The savings are real and the terms are strong. If you are a veteran thinking about buying a building or major equipment for your business, this is the place to start.
