Lovejoy’s Market was opened in 1950 in Plain City, Ohio, and has operated in several locations and by three generations of the Lovejoy family. LoveJoy’s is a full service grocery store to the residents of this rural town northwest of Columbus. Paul “Charlie” Lovejoy has owned and operated the store since 2001 when it relocated to its newly constructed building at 900 Village Boulevard that also houses several other retail businesses.
Lovejoy’s was able to take advantage of the SBA 504 Temporary Refinance program and consolidate all business and real estate debt into a new long-term loan structure with the participation of Heartland Bank and OSDC.
