DIANNE ALLEN
Executive Director
Dianne Allen was appointed executive director in 2000 when she spearheaded OSDC’s move from a program within the Ohio Department of Development to an independent, not-for-profit corporation with its own office and staff. At that time she had spent eight years as senior loan officer with Columbus Countywide Development Corporation, an organization similar to OSDC that offers loans to businesses to purchase equipment , or buy or build buildings necessary for their growing operations. A native of Massachusetts, where she received her Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dianne earned Masters degrees in City and Regional Planning and Public Administration from Ohio State University. She worked for the Ohio Department of Development for six years where she administered the Economic Development program under the Community Development Block Grant Program. While there she developed a special interest in public finance and has gone on to establish a career in this area of expertise. Dianne can be reached at dallen@osdc.net.
MARGARET (Mag) RANFT
Portfolio Manager
Mag Ranft joined OSDC in October 2004 after working almost 29 years with the Columbus office of the SBA. While at SBA she was involved with processing, service and liquidating both 7a and 504 loans. Mag works primarily on closing 504 and 166 loans and monitoring and servicing OSDC’s growing loan portfolio. OSDC is very grateful that Mag decided to pursue a second career on the “private” side and contribute her invaluable experience to OSDC operations. She can be reached at mranft@osdc.net.
JULIE CARR
Loan Officer
Julie Carr joined OSDC in 2011. Julie comes to OSDC from Huntington National Bank, where she managed a team dedicated to determining borrower eligibility for SBA loan programs. Julie has nearly 15 years of experience in a commercial lending environment, also having worked as a credit analyst at a financial institution. She can be reached at jcarr@osdc.net.
KEVIN GOEHRING
Loan Officer
Kevin Goehring joined OSDC in 2011. An Ohio Wesleyan graduate, Kevin previously worked in New York City as an underwriter for a company that provides working capital loans to small businesses. He also worked in the finance practice group of a law firm, where he assisted in the closing and documentation process for large commercial loans. He can be reached at kgoehring@osdc.net.
JEFF SWEENEY
Portfolio Specialist
Jeff Sweeney started working with OSDC as an intern in 2009 while studying at Capital University. After graduation in 2010, Jeff continued to work with OSDC and began working full time in the spring of 2011. Jeff is responsible for maintaining key financial, insurance and compliance documentation for OSDC’s growing loan portfolio. He can be reached at jsweeney@osdc.net.
